In Kingston-upon-Thames, the future sounds good for Pop Golf.

With young families, students and local offices all looking for quality hospitality experiences, as well as a rich history of music in the local area, Kingston and Pop Golf are made for each other.

Owners Dmitry Leus and Allan Saud have partnered with Purists of Play members, Smith & Devil, IH Solutions, 501 fun, Realise Productions, and Mance Communications to bring competitive socialising experience, Pop Golf to the Kingston Rotunda. Taking over an old Franky & Benny's, this will be a multi activity bar & street food concept, anchored by mini golf. To embrace added activities like smart darts, smart shuffle and beer pong, the brand identity will be adapted to become Pop Social Kingston.

Kingston Rotunda

Site & location suitability

The 6,500 sq ft space will accommodate 9 holes of golf, 2 smart darts booth, 4 shuffleboards, with a maximum capacity of 250. It is located in a popular mixed use leisure and entertainment centre, complimented by an Odeon Cinema, escape rooms, Pizza Express, Five Guys, a David Lloyd and Pryzm nightclub. The borough is made up of a growing and affluent population (181,000 predicted to grow to over 200,100 by 2029), and there are local university populations to build relationships with. Plus, Kingston has a long affiliation with the music industry. It was once the site of the famous Decca records processing site, David Bowie launched Ziggy Stardust in a local pub, and nearby bars such as The Fighting Cocks support a thriving live music scene. So, we believe the Pop Social concept fits as snuggly as David Bowie's jumpsuit.

Analogue & tech combined

Expertly curated playlists, premium interior design, on point cocktails, beers on tap and a street food concept will all make Pop Social an appealing destination. But the mix of bookable games will make it a popular events space and broaden the appeal. Whether guests are booking for families, night's out, or parties, there's something for everyone. Popular new tech offers low setup and operational costs, with a fast ROI. And the Pop Social mini golf concept is a standout reason to visit, with revenue proven to be on a par with bowling lanes. And the concept depth with social media appeal inspires customer advocacy and social currency.
